Dogs-Lunch $-Technology

With the weather cooling off we begin to see "Dogs at School." Please know our school policy calls for No Dogs on our campus at any time, for any reason.
Your attention and help is greatly appreciated. Please do not bring dogs to school!

Need some lunch money? Did you know we offer a free & reduced lunch program?
All children in households receiving benefits from SNAP, the Food Distribution Program, or TANF and most foster children can get free meals regardless of your income. Also, children can get free meals if your household's gross income is within the free limits on the Federal Income Guidelines. Stop by the office to pick up the application or get more information to take advantage of this great service.

Tuesday, Oct. 12
teachers will be articulating on technology exit skills at each grade level. School Council agreed to make this a goal in our COMPASS 2015, as Desert Trails moves forward with technology. Our wonderful PTO has generously provided the professional development funds to allow teachers an additional 40 minutes to meet with Mrs. Taub and myself. We will align all exit skills to the Technology State Standards.
Thank you PTO for the time & Thank you School Council for the vision!!!
Join us Dec. 3 at 8:30 in the Computer Lab for our next Technology Camp Meeting. Everyone is welcome!

Pizza & Movie in the Park!! Oct. 23 6:30 -- right here at Desert Trails, bring your blanket, pillow, lawn chair, and a few bucks for pizza!!! This is a great community/school event sponsored by PTO.
